Prom Layout

I made this layout from my nephew's prom pictures this year. These were sitting there staring at me and I had to put them onto a page today. I just love this black paper! The background paper under the photos has faint roses on it. I tried to take a picture but it wouldn't show up. I stickled the title. The flowers were cut using Plantin Schoolbook cartridge on the Cricut.

Thanks for looking!

Baseball Layouts

I haven't been doing any projects for myself lately and so I decided that it was time to do some scrapbooking layouts. I have started an album for my oldest two for their baseball/softball pictures. It is an 8 x 8 album. I wish that I hadn't done that size as I am having a hard time putting all the pictures on the pages. Not to mention embellishing them too. So this is what I have accomplished so far this weekend. The backgrounds and papers are baseball and team color oriented. Their team colors were red, white, and grey. I don't know what else to use. If anyone has any other suggestions, feel free to throw them my way. Well, thanks for looking and have an awesome week!

BFF Envelope Album

My daughter's friend is moving away next Friday. I wanted to do something for both of them. I made an album for each of them. I've seen envelope pockets and wanted to see if I could make an album. So here is my version of it. It still needs to be embellished after I put the photos on. Wanted to post though to give you an idea of how it turned out. Keep in mind that I am a little pressed for time. The thought occured to me just this week. It has been really hard to keep it away from my daughter. Finding the time to make it has been difficult too. The only time I can work on it is in the afternoons when all my daycare kids are sleeping and then I have to have it all cleaned up before she gets home from school. I cut tags from cereal boxes and put them in each of the openings of the envelopes. I used my Cricut to cut out the tags using George and Basic Shapes cartridge. The cupcake is from Sweet Treats. The balloons are from a SVG file from birthday bears at myscrapchick.com. Anyways, enjoy the pictures. It has been fun to create!

Baby Mini-Album

Here is another baby mini-album that I made. I used the album from myscrapchick.com. I just love how this turned out!! If you haven't made a mini-album, you should try it! It is so much fun!! I plan to add the name of the baby to the front cover but at the time it was given, the parents hadn't decided on a name yet. I used a variety of different paper. Some came from DCWV Nana's kids paper stack. Others were just hand picked from open stock at AC Moore. I used the cricut to embellish and used the New Arrival cartridge. I will post more pictures as I can't get but a few to post at one time. Hope you enjoy and find some kind of creative touch to use when you are crafting!!

Thank You Card

I do daycare in my home and I have some wonderful parents!! During Teacher Appreciation week, one of my parents had given me a gift card to Target. This week, I had another parent give me a gift too! It was some wonderful chocolates, bath and body set and a gift card to Chili's! I was so thrilled!! It really wasn't necessary but it is always great to get a special gift! Needless to say, both parents made my day!!! :) So, I created some new thank you cards! This metallic looking purple card stock from Bazzill Basic Paper called flirty paired with Me & My Big Ideas paper are becoming my favorites. I used the Martha Stewart punch for the edge below the sentiment. The flower is cut at 2" using the Sweet Treats cartridge. I embossed the flower with the swiss dots embossing folder and sewed a button to finish it off. Thanks for looking and have a great day!!

Birthday Card

June is the month of birthdays for my family. Here is one of the many cards that I need to make. I used regular white cardstock for the background. I cut it using a SVG file from myscrapchick.com. I used the cuddlebug to emboss the icing and the party hat. I chalked the edges of the bear and the cheeks. I also pop dotted the icing and the bear's one hand. I hand wrote the sentiment and the inside of the card. Thanks for looking and have a great day!!

Baby Mini-Album

Hi everyone! My first post is going to be a Baby Mini-album that I had made and gave to my son's friend's parents for their soon to be baby boy. I purchased the tab book from myscrapchick.com and used Make The Cut software to cut it out of chipboard. I then used DCWV Nana's kids paper for the backgrounds. I embellished it with things that I had accumulated as well as used the New Arrival Cricut cartridge for some things too. I think that the lion frame is a SVG file from Treasurebox designs. It was so much fun putting it together and they really loved the gift. Hope you enjoy looking at it! I love to hear feedback so feel free to leave a comment! Thanks and come back again soon as I will be posting more things I have done or will be working on!
